About the PI

Jun.-Prof. Dr. Alexander K. Buell studied Biochemistry and general Chemistry in Tübingen (2002-2004) and general Chemistry as well as Physical and Theoretical Chemistry in Paris (2004-2007). He performed his PhD research in the Nanoscience Centre of the University of Cambridge under the supervision of Prof. Sir Mark E. Welland (2008-2011). He then obtained a personal fellowship to perform postdoctoral work in the Chemistry department of the University of Cambridge (2011-2015). From October 2015 to March 2019, he was Assistant Professor for the Aggregation of Amyloid Proteins at the University of Düsseldorf. From the 1st of April 2019, Alexander Buell will be Full Professor of Protein Biophysics at DTU in Denmark.
