Team Dingley

Research Scope

The primary focus of the Dingley group is to understand protein function at the atomic level, with particular interest in the following two research topics:

  • The role of protein dynamics in the assembly of protein-protein and protein-peptide complexes
  • How antimicrobial proteins interact and disrupt microbial membranes and the development of antimicrobial surfaces suitable for medical devices.

Experimental approaches range from molecular biology and protein production to biophysical methods with emphasis on the use of high-resolution nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy.
