Congratulations to Katrin Röllen, who has been awarded a poster prize at the 2015 Gordon Research Conference on Proteins. The conference was held from 06/14/2015 - 06/19/2015 at Holderness School in Holderness, New Hamshire, United States.

Katrin has just started her 3rd year of PhD and her position is funded by project ‘Optosys’ DB001105. Her research topic is on blue-light-sensitive LOV (Light, Oxygen and Voltage) proteins that are ubiquitous sensor proteins binding flavin derivatives as chromophores. She is a member of the research group "Structural Studies on Biological Photoreceptors", which is headed by PD Dr. Renu Battra-Safferling and PD Dr. Joachim Granzin.
